What is the reinforcement output of ETABs? is it minimum or it is based on the Code provided in the modelling? Why i always get 1% reinforcement in columns while i design.

Help please! Is it a valid practice to assign end release in concrete beams so that the adjacent column takes less moment resulting in less rebar percentage? If yes, will there be any change in design of beam-column junction?
