    Bottom bars & top bars are different in beam/girder design. For top bars we consider larger amount of steel among both sides of the joint as per required at top. Same for bottom.

    Defining slab under orthotropic is default approach. By modeling panel & bar element is equivalent approach. Both are ok, but in case of bar elements you can check analytical result for ribbed beam in details.

    This is based on Design Code. As per ACI code minimum rebar for column is 1%. For IS code it's 0.8%. So as per ACI code if column design rebar more than 1%,then it will show same, but if less or equal to 1% then it will show always 1%.

    DEA is something as associate diploma that you can do after your matriculation which in most courtiers is considers equivalent to intermitted (12) after doing this your field of profession is specified and you can grow in it......... and go BS and MS as well....
